The Friends of the Brooks Free Library Bookstore will hold a half-price book sale from July 8 - July 15. The hours of the Bookstore sale are as follows: 1:00 - 3:00 on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; 10:30 - 12:30 on Tuesday and Saturday. The wide array of books available range from fiction, nonfiction, hardcovers, paperbacks, adult and children’s books. In addition to the extensive variety of books, numerous DVDs, CDS and Audio Books are also available.

The Friends is a nonprofit volunteer organization that assists the Director and Library staff in serving our community by supplementing the funds available to the library from the Town and State. They support the library with materials, equipment, programs, museum passes, and special programs, such as Books on Wheels, the Children’s Summer Program and the Sunday Program. For visually impaired patrons, the VITAL Program provides information assistance and training services.
