Harwich Housing Advocacy - Drop-in Hours with Brianna Powell
Brooks Free Library is hosting free drop-in hours every Monday from 10:30 - 12:30 with Brianna Powell, Harwich Housing Advocate. Brianna can provide information on affordable housing opportunities and resources in Harwich. Drop-in sessions are first-come, first-served and held on the 2nd floor of Brooks Free Library in the VITAL room, across from our Reference desk.
Housing Advocacy in Harwich is seeking to expand, protect, and preserve year-round rental and ownership housing opportunities that range from market rate, moderately-affordable units, and low income housing. In addition, we focus on providing resources, education, and programs to assist town residents maintain and obtain suitable housing. Our efforts are for the benefit of all town residents and will promote a welcoming environment for a socio-demographic, diverse community.
