Cape Cod Vision Zero Action Plan Public Meeting

Cape Cod Vision Zero Action Plan Public Meeting

The Cape Cod Commission invites the public to attend this Cape Cod Vision Zero Action Plan public meeting to learn more about efforts to eliminate fatalities and serious injury crashes on Cape Cod’s roadways. The meetings will provide an overview of the region’s High Injury and High Risk roadway and intersection network and a draft list of potential countermeasures, projects, and strategies to reduce serious injury and fatal crashes in our region. Attendees will have an opportunity to provide feedback on potential solutions in their communities as the Commission prepares the Action Plan document later this spring.

The Cape Cod Vision Zero Action Plan, a pathway to a safer future, includes a systematic crash analysis and set of solutions to tackle the region’s most serious and fatal crashes, emphasizing those involving bicyclists, pedestrians, and other non-motorists. The Action Plan includes a series of low- to high-cost regional strategies and actions at the region’s most problematic locations.

The Cape Cod Vision Zero Safety Action Plan is funded by the Federal Highway Administration through the Safe Streets for All discretionary grant program.

This program is not a Library-managed event. It is a public meeting is sponsored by the Cape Cod Commission. For more information visit the project website or contact: Colleen Medeiros, Cape Cod Commission Transportation Program Manager at colleen.medeiros@capecodcommission.org.
