Trying Your Hand at Poetry with Judith Partelow
In this workshop Judith Partelow talks about how participants can take an idea and create a poem, even if they’ve never tried it. She shares poems she’s written in memoir style to evoke listeners’ own life experiences. It’s a very non-threatening, easy way to try your hand at bringing forth memories into a short piece of poetry or prose.
We will listen to some poetry, receive and write to prompts, share writing if so desired, and possibly receive a printed compilation of the participant's writing. Bring a notebook and pen/pencil, water, and/or a snack. There is no charge for this workshop.
