Tech Help Power Hours
Come up to the Reference Desk on the second floor for drop-in tech help on Wednesdays from 1-3pm and get some help with technology from one of our librarians.
No appointments needed.
Examples of things we might help you with include:
- Introduction and troubleshooting with eBooks/eAudiobooks
- Basic tips on how to use your device (Chromebooks/smartphones/laptops)
- Internet Basics
- Email Basics
- Software/App Basics
- Research beyond Google
- Using library electronic resources – newspaper databases, Hoopla, Kanopy, PressReader
Some limits on these services include:
- Limited to a maximum of 20 minutes
- Cannot troubleshoot personal computers or devices
- Cannot provide medical, legal and business advice or opinions
- We do not type or proofread documents
